Installation:

  1. Verify that the make and model of the car for which the boot liner is intended corresponds with the make and model indicated on the label on the outer lip of the boot liner.
  2. Remove all other boot mats or boot liners from the vehicle's boot. Do not remove the factory-installed boot carpet
  3. The boot liner is designed to fit exclusively onto the vehicle's factory boot carpet. Do not place the boot liner on other boot boot liners.
  4. Do not position the boot liner upside down (with the protective collar facing downward).
  5. If the boot liner arrives in a rolled-up package, it should be unrolled and placed on a flat surface (preferably upside down) before their first use, ideally at room temperature, to allow it to straighten. The flexible plastic used in the boot liners' production imparts a "shape memory" to the product. The boot liner will naturally straighten over time, and the duration required for this process can range from several minutes to several hours, depending on the ambient temperature and the length of time it was rolled up or subjected to fluctuating weather conditions, such as extreme heat or cold.
  6. Clean the car boot floor to ensure the boot liner fits precisely, then position the unfolded boot liner on the boot floor. If needed, you may press its surface with your hands towards the trunk walls to obtain a perfectly flat surface.
  7. The boot liner's shape must correspond to that of the car boot walls. Make sure that the protective collar is not folded under the boot liner and that the top edge of the collar around the boot liner is positioned at a similar angle to the boot walls.
  8. In certain boot liners, it is feasible to trim the designated area to accommodate for a specific car model or specific car equipment as for example tie down hooks / anchors to secure luggage or mounting rails. The section indicated with scissors should be cut along the designated cutting line. Implement suitable precautions when utilizing sharp tools, such as scissors or knives, for instance, by wearing protective gloves.

Product Safety:

  1. The boot liner is produced from a thermoplastic blend of TPE/PE plastics (thermoplastic rubber) or PE (polyethylene), which is free from PVC, heavy metals, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, phthalates or other health-hazardous substances. The product was designed and produced in Poland (EU), adhering to European Union standards.
  2. The manufacturer holds ISO 9001 certification for the production, design, and sale of automotive floor liners and boot liners.
  3. The product, when utilized as directed and in line with the manufacturer's guidelines, is entirely safe and does not present any danger to users. Ensure the product is kept out of reach of children.

Use and Storage:

  1. The boot liner is resistant to chemicals and oils, as well as low and high temperatures; however, it should not be subjected to these factors at extreme levels. Open flames, liquefied gas, concentrated solvents or corrosive substances can harm the boot liner and may reach the car boot floor. Oils, chemicals, and solvents can lead to permanent contamination of the boot liner. Consequently, direct contact with the boot liner’ surface should be minimized.
  2. After loading the boot liner ensure that the collar around the boot liner is not folded under the luggage. Bending the collar or any other part of the boot liner may lead to its permanent deformation.
  3. Avoid dragging heavy loads across the boot liner, especially those in containers or transport boxes with sharp edges. Sharp edges may damage its surface. Instead lift and place such a load in a new location on the boot liner.
  4. When unrolling the boot liner, please adhere to the instructions provided for its initial use.
  5. Boot liner may be stored in rooms that are not air-conditioned and unheated.
  6. Stored boot liner should be protected from direct environmental influence such as rain, snow or sunlight.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

  1. Regular maintenance prolongs the lifespan of your boot liner. The boot liner should be regularly taken out of the car, shaken to remove loose dirt and either washed or wiped down. Using dirty boot liner can result in irreversible damage to the surface of the material
from which the boot liners is produced.
  2. The boot liner is entirely waterproof. It can be cleaned, washed and rinsed with running water, as well as with pressure washers.
  3. The boot liner can be safely cleaned using mild detergents, soap and water as well as all commonly available plastic cleaning products. Do not use harsh abrasive items to clean it, as they can permanently damage its surface
  4. Do not wash in a machine or dry clean.

Disposal and Recycling:

The boot liner is fully recyclable as PE (polyethylene) plastic. The product packaging is also fully recyclable as PE (polyethylene) plastic. If you need to replace or dispose of the boot liner, please adhere to your local waste sorting regulations.
